Since 2000, the Alliance Française d'Adelaïde has been presenting the French Festival. In the enchanting gardens of Carrick Hill, each Festival has been themed different on regions of France, promoting and celebrating French language and culture. This year on November 15 &16, with a focus on Provence, world-renowned and contemporary Provence artists will head the anticipated music line-up with big new names such as Zaza Fournier, acclaimed Jazz group Sashird Lao, ska band Gérard et les Stars Trio, La Divine Quincaillerie to name a few. The gastronomy program will entice all lovers of food and wine with live cooking and wine tasting demonstrations. Our special guest French chef Jean Montagard will prepared a special Gala Dinner on Wednesday 12 November (book now!) and will also conduct cooking demonstrations on the weekend.
